Full definition
A customer discount tag lets your shop set up discount tiers (regular = 0%, new customer = 5% off, VIP = 10% off, friends & family = 15% off). Each tag has its own rate and name that you decide. Once you attach a tag to a customer, every new service or product is automatically priced with that discount applied. Your staff never have to remember to give the discount by hand, and the customer sees the same consistent pricing every time they come in.
Why this concept matters
Tiered pricing is universal in beauty — VIPs (lifetime spend > N), staff family discount, referral discount, holiday promo. Manual discount application is error-prone: staff forget; clients complain "you gave me a discount last time, why not now?" Tag-based discounts bind to customer identity, auto-apply every time, are auditable, and survive staff turnover.
